October OPS 36
October 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd
On the 9th and 23rd, participants will be staying after their lesson to play the course from 4-6pm
Instruction by Lonny Alexander
Ops 36 is a progressive program designed to help the students learn how to play the game of golf and test their newly learned skills. After instruction in the group class setting, we move to the golf course and play 9 holes starting 25 yards from the green on each hole. The goal is to shoot a score of 36 (par) or better from the 25 yard distance for 9 holes. Once the student has achieved that goal, they are moved back to 50 yards from the green with the goal of shooting par or better from 50 yards. This process is repeated at 75 yards and then 100 yards from the green. At the point the student is able to score par or better from 100 yards, they are more equipped to go onto the golf course and play a regular round of golf with more confidence.
The students will download the OP 36 app to track their progress. The instructors will have access to the information and post all on course events for the students. This program is a great tool to track the students progress and help the students become more confident and knowledgeable about the game of golf.
