STABILITY, MOBILITY, FLEXIBILTY AND STRENGTH
Titleist Performance Institute
The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) developed a program to train Golf Professionals, Personal Trainers, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors and Medical Practitioners to understand the correlation between a golfer's physical limitations and their swing flaws.
This will be a 6- week program to help you move your body in the right direction to better golf and all-around better day to day movement. The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) has many years of research behind the methods we will use. You don?t have to be a professional golfer to benefit from this program?as an amateur you may benefit even more than a professional because most of the professionals have been working on these things just to stay relevant in their game.
We will do a combination of mobility work to help you through range of motion movements for the golf swing, core and body stability work to help you maintain the positions, flexibility work for the hips, ankles, wrists, shoulders, T-spine, hip flexors, etc. If you are not strong and flexible enough to get into a position your instructor/coach wants you in?you won?t be able to make the changes you need and it will be frustrating for you.
This 6-week program will help you to understand your body better, and how it affects your golf swing and everyday life movements.
Starting Thursday, January 7th for 6 weeks
8:00 am ? 9:00 am in the fitness center.
Sign-up will be limited to 10 people.
